Mick DeNatale is an Italian-American abstract artist based in Ontario, Canada.

Her professional journey into the art world began in Chicago, Illinois studying fine art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and graphic design at the Illinois Institute of Art (formerly Ray-Vogue College of Design).

Mick has studied and practiced a wide range of art disciplines including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and textiles through multiple art courses and programs.

Working with encaustic mediums and mono-printing processes, she creates minimalist abstract pieces built through the thoughtful layering of mono-prints, mixed media, vintage papers and found materials and objects.

The loose and raw nature of her work is meant to serve as a counterbalance to the stressfulness and intensity of contemporary life.
