Mick DeNatale is an Italian-American abstract artist based in Ontario, Canada.

Her professional journey into the art world began in Chicago, Illinois studying fine art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and graphic design at the Illinois Institute of Art (formerly Ray-Vogue College of Design).

Mick has studied and practiced a wide range of art disciplines including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and textiles through multiple art courses and programs.

Working with encaustic mediums and mono-printing processes, she creates minimalist abstract pieces that are built through careful layering of prints, mixed media, and found materials.

The simplicity of her work is meant to serve as a counterbalance to the chaos and overwhelming nature of contemporary life.

Her work also subtly examines the environmental degradation caused by humankind and the dire consequences that follow.
